Meet Fluida
Fluida is a social innovation publisher dedicated to transforming access to reading and writing among children, especially in vulnerable communities. Founded in 2024, based on Molde’s experience and incubated within UFMG’s ecosystem, Fluida works with participatory methodologies that involve children in the collective creation of children’s books, promoting leadership, inclusion, and socio-emotional development.
The Tejuco Solar Project is a Molde initiative aimed at promoting clean and renewable energy in territories facing socio-environmental vulnerability. Developed in the districts of Tejuco and Monte Cristo, in Minas Gerais, the project fosters the use of sustainable technologies for solar energy generation, combining innovation, education, and community development.
More than just installing photovoltaic systems, the project seeks to raise awareness and train the community on the benefits of a just energy transition, generating positive environmental impact and encouraging sustainable economic practices.
Molde wins 3rd place at the Baanko Challenge 2025
Over the course of three intense weeks, Molde was selected for a collaborative learning process on impact business models, socio-environmental metrics, strategic management, and fundraising, alongside other ventures committed to the positive transformation of the territory.
Baanko Chalenge 2025
Motirõ, an initiative of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) aimed at strengthening social technologies and impact ventures originating from the academic environment. During the process, the Molde team—composed of researchers linked to the Graduate Program in Technological Innovation (PPGIT-UFMG)—had the opportunity to deepen impact modeling, financial sustainability, and the scalability of its actions. It was in this context that the proposal to create Fluida Publishing emerged, as a spin-off committed to the social mission of the CSO, but anchored in an innovative and sustainable business model.
